Maple Grove Cupcake Shop Works to Sweeten Up Timberwolves Fans
It wasn’t the way Timberwolves fans wanted the Western Conference Finals to start, but a Maple Grove cupcake shop hopes fans will be just as enthusiastic for the rest of the team’s playoff run.
Nadia Cakes is putting a spin on the now viral tourism phrase made famous by Wolves’ star Anthony Edwards.
Their new, Timberwolves-themed, “Bring Ya Ass” cupcakes, debuted on Wednesday and immediately became a fan favorite.
“We sold out [Wednesday], so we made a whole fresh batch this morning,” said Maria Kowalzek, an assistant manager at Nadia Cakes. “So we’re fully in stock for today. We also added some gluten-free options with this cupcake, so you can ‘bring ya ass’ in here and get some cupcakes.”
The cupcakes are a chocolate, chocolate chip flavor, topped with vanilla buttercream frosting.
Nadia Cakes will have the Timberwolves-themed cupcakes in stock for as long as fans want them.
