Maple Grove Plans April 29 Arbor Day Celebration
Maple Grove is planning an Arbor Day Celebration that features a reptile zoo, gardening help and information about trees.
The Raptor Center, the University of Minnesota’s Master Gardening program and other vendors or attractions will be present.
“We expect a pretty healthy crowd. There’s always a lot of people that come in, flow in. We have a lot of freebies too, so we have tree seedlings giveaways, we have a raffle for bigger shade trees and a kids raffle. There is usually people swinging through. You don’t have to stay for the whole thing, you can stop by for 15 minutes or stay for an hour,” said Cody Lensing, Maple Grove Arbor Committee Member.
The event will be on April 29 at the Maple Grove Community Center.
