Man Seriously Injured in Brooklyn Center Shooting
Brooklyn Center police are looking for whoever fired more than a dozen shots from a vehicle, seriously injuring a man late Saturday night.
According to Brooklyn Center police, the shooting happened at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday outside a home in the 5100 block of Xerxes Ave. N.
Officers located a man inside the home who had a gunshot wound to the torso. He was taken to the hospital for his injury, which police say is “not expected to be life threatening.”
Brooklyn Center police say witnesses told officers that the victim confronted someone inside a vehicle in the street when shots were fired. Officers recovered “approximately 20 bullet casings” along with a firearm, a Brooklyn Center police alert said.
On Monday, Brooklyn Center police told CCX News that no arrests had been made and there was no update on possible suspects.
