Man Found Dead in Brooklyn Park Home, Two Suspects Arrested
Brooklyn Park police tell CCX News that they have arrested two suspects for probable cause murder after a man was found dead in a Brooklyn Park home Wednesday.
Police were called to the 7200 block of 72nd Lane at shortly before 10:30 a.m. Wednesday on a report of a man with injuries and unresponsive. Arriving officers located a 54-year-old man with what appeared to be a single gunshot wound, police said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. Police then began a homicide investigation.
Later Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m. Brooklyn Park police say they executed a search warrant related to the case in the 8500 block of Adair Circle N. At that time police made arrests following what police describe as a “sustained police presence in the area.”
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet released the identity of the man found dead.
Charges in the case were pending Thursday.
