Man Charged After Beating Brother to Death in Plymouth
A 36-year-old man has died after he was allegedly assaulted by his brother early Thursday at a Plymouth home.
Eric Spanier, 47, was charged with second-degree murder in connection with the case.
According to the Plymouth Police Department, officers responded to a residence in the 400 block of Saratoga Lane at around 4:30 a.m. Thursday. When officers arrived, police say they found a man with “severe injuries.”
Plymouth Investigative Sargent Scott Whiteford said Spanier beat his brother to death with “objects.”
He was taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in Robbinsdale, where he later died.
Charges were filed around noon on Friday.
