Local Nonprofits Donate Thousands for Charity Gift-Buying Spree
Diamonds & Gold Jeweler is making sure no child is left behind this Christmas season.
The St. Louis Park business bought thousands of dollars worth of toys at the Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm thanks to North West Jaycees for donating $3,700 and the Crystal-New Hope-Robbinsdale Rotary for donating $1,000.
The Brooklyn Park Fleet Farm also donated $50 and reduced the price of toys by 20%.
The battered women shelters in Minneapolis and St. Paul will receive the gifts the week before Christmas.
Any extra toys will go toward birthday presents for the rest of the year.
Diamonds & Gold Jeweler have been buying toys for children for the past 30 years.
