Local Lawmakers hold Key Leadership Positions
Mike Freiberg, DFL-Golden Valley, will chair the House Government Operations Committee. The committee provides oversight to local government and state boards. Rep. Melissa Hortman, DFL-Brooklyn Park, will serve as House Speaker while Rep. Ryan Winkler, DFL-Golden Valley, will serve as House Majority Leader. Sen. Warren Limmer, R-Maple Grove, will continue to serve as Assistant Majority Leader.
