Len Busch Roses Preparing for International Women’s Day

Employees at a local flower distributor are busy getting ready for a day that’s becoming bigger every year. 

“We have seen our customers coming to us and asking for bouquets that they can put into their stores to represent International Women’s Day,” said Georgia Edgington, lead floral designer at Len Busch Roses in Plymouth.

Staff members are in the process of organizing special floral arrangements for the March 8 holiday.

International Women’s Day is designed to celebrate the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.

The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

You can find the bouquets starting Wednesday at independent floral shops and grocery stores such as Cub Foods.
