Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market Kicks Off in Robbinsdale
A new tradition kicked off in Robbinsdale this month — a weekly farmers market at Lakeview Terrace Park.
“I’m excited. I’ve never done a Robbinsdale farmers market,” said Rasheda Jenkins, a vendor. “I’ve done one in north Minneapoils, so just a new location, meeting new people, it’s a blessing. So I’m so thankful to be here.”
Jenkins was one of the many excited vendors at Robbinsdale’s new Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market, which made its debut on Saturday, May 21.

The farmers market was once based in north Minneapolis, but relocated to park along Bottineau Blvd and 36th Avenue N in Robbinsdale with the hope that increased visibility will help generate more foot traffic.
“This is all about community,” said a vendor who went by the name, “Chef K.” :We have so many people here right now and it’s a beautiful sight, so I invite everyone to come out every Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon. Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market.”
The farmers market will happen every Saturday through Sept. 17.
