Kathie’s Coffee Supports Pancreatic Cancer Research
There coffee available in Robbinsdale that’s as strong as the cause it supports.
Kym Jolstad created the Kathie’s Coffee brand to honor her mother, who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2019. A portion of the sales goes to pancreatic cancer research.
“She was diagnosed in August and it took me until January when I was walking my dog in the park and i was holding my coffee and I was like Kathie’s Coffee,” remembers Jolstad. “This is great. My mom loves coffee and she’s built her entire community around coffee.”

Jolstad says so far she’s sent $9,000 to PanCAN and she is less than $100 away from sending another $1,000.
Locally, you can find Kathie’s Coffee at Minnesota Makers in downtown Robbinsdale and Excelsior. Jolstad hopes to expand Kathie’s Coffee to retailers in other states.
