Jake’s City Grille in Plymouth Closes
Jake’s City Grille has closed its Plymouth location. The restaurant along Highway 55 will close over the weekend. A manager told the Sun Sailor that the restaurant “wasn’t doing so well,” and that the property had been sold. Customers we spoke with came out for a last meal.
“Great food at a good price,” said diner Larry Smith. “And the service is terrific. It’s just a convenient location so we’re very sad they are going to be closing.”
Jake’s City Grille used to have three other locations; Eagan, Maplewood, and Eden Prairie. All have now closed. It’s uncertain what will replace the Plymouth restaurant.
