Hy-Vee Helps Plymouth Middle School Staff
The New Hope Hy-vee gathered and delivered 150 hot meals plus snacks and water for first responders, after the firearm incident at Plymouth Middle School on Monday. Robbinsdale Interim Superintendent Dr. Stephanie Burrage called it “an inspiring example of neighbors helping neighbors.”
In a statement to the school, New Hope Hy-Vee store director Jack Stortenbecker said, “We employ 500 people at the store, and most of them live in this community,” he said. “Some of our staff are parents and have children who attend (PMS). So helping out was something we wanted to do.”
