Housing Market Sees Lowest September Inventory in 20 Years
A new report released Tuesday on the Twin Cities real estate market shows the lowest September supply of homes for sale in two decades. Sale prices, meanwhile, went up.
The Twin Cities metro remains a seller’s market, with just 1.5 months supply of inventory, according to the report by Minneapolis Area Realtors.
The median sales price in the Twin Cities in September was $341,750, up 10 percent over last year. Brooklyn Park, Brooklyn Center, Maple Grove, Osseo and Plymouth all saw double-digit percentage gains in the sale price last month over the year prior.
