House Fire in Robbinsdale Sends Three to Hospital
A house fire in Robbinsdale over the weekend sent three people to the hospital.
Firefighters and police responded to a fully engulfed home on the 3800 block of Regent Avenue North shortly before 5 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
The Robbinsdale Fire Department was able to extinguish the flames “over a period of time,” according to Robbinsdale Police Captain Chad Stensrud.
Investigators say all of the residents made it out safely. However, paramedics transported an adult and two children to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The Hennepin County Fire Investigation Team is looking into the cause of Saturday’s fire.
Meanwhile, Captain Stensrud says the Red Cross is helping the family with housing.
