Hopkins Center for the Arts’ Spring Show in Full Bloom
Warming temps and the chatter of birds means it’s time once again for the the Spring Members’ Show at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
On display is more than 250 works of art created by various members of the center. The gallery is one of the largest of the year.
“Being a fully inclusive, non-juried opportunity, it offers a place for every level of artist to be seen and get their work out there,” said Jim Clark, visual arts manager at the Hopkins Center for the Arts.
Each member is allowed to submit two of art pieces of any type. The wide variety of works and styles can be seen throughout the building.
“It’s a full spectrum of abilities and mediums,” said Clark. “There’s some works that are kind of off the wall, as well as some classic works. Maybe more so than any other exhibition, we really have something for everyone.”
The exhibition is open until May 13. Visitors can vote for the People’s Choice Award at the show.
