A fourth-grade student with an eye toward safety brought a cool prize to his school.
Dylan Sudan, a student at Heritage Christian Academy, developed a fire escape plan for his house.
While in fourth grade, he made a poster that took top prize in Maple Grove’s fire safety poster contest.
To honor Dylan’s work, his school received a traveling trophy that’s been in the community for nearly 50 years. Dylan also received a $25 check and recognition at the June 5 Maple Grove City Council meeting.
