Hennepin Technical College Celebrates 50 Years with Tree Planting
Hennepin Technical College planted a tree on campus in honor of their 50th anniversary this year. The school’s Landscaping, Horticulture, and Urban Forestry Academic Program facilitated the tree planting.
“We’re so excited to be celebrating our 50th anniversary, so we have events planned all year,” said Joy Bodin, interim president at Hennepin Technical College. “Today we’re planting a tree in celebration. It’s like our students, in starting a solid foundation and helping them grow, which we support.”
The tree was planted near the cafeteria.
