Golden Valley Unveils New Community Garden at Medley Park
The city of Golden Valley is celebrating a new addition to one of its parks.
The city unveiled a new community garden at Medley Park this week. The garden includes 40 raised containers that area residents can sign up for.
A lottery system will decide who gets them each year. The garden plots will be made available later this month. You can learn more here.
The idea for a community garden first came up four years ago. The city came up with the concept using the tennis courts, since those courts needed significant repairs.
