Golden Valley Resident Captures Video of Raccoons in Bassett Creek
A Golden Valley resident captured video of raccoons dipping their paws into the water and scampering around Bassett Creek. Karla Rose captured the video from her bedroom window and shared the video online.
A group of raccoons, formally called a gaze, dipped their paws into the water and wandered around the creek for several minutes.
Raccoons have very sensitive touch, and dipping their hands into the water increases the animal’s sensitivity and helps them identify food.
