Golden Valley City Council Selects Interim City Manager
The Golden Valley City Council has selected an interim city manager.
The city has drawn up an agreement to hire Noah Schuchman, who was previously chief administrative officer in Duluth.
Schuchman would temporarily replace city manager Tim Cruikshank who retired.
The Golden Valley City Council held interviews for the interim role two weeks ago.
Under terms of the employment agreement, Schuchman would stay in the interim role for six months or until a permanent city manager is found. The agreement could be extended, according to the terms.
The city plans to hire a search firm to help identify candidates for a permanent city manager.
