Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival Canceled Due to COVID-19
Another local festival made the decision to cancel due to anticipated restrictions against large gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Golden Valley Arts & Music Festival, scheduled for Sept. 12, will be called off. Festival organizers say they will begin planning to hold the event virtually with socially-distant activities.
In a statement, lead festival organizer Kimberly Seymour called the decision “difficult.”
“We want the health and safety of our community to come first and foremost,” read the statement released by Seymour.
More details on the socially-distant activities are expected to be released in June.
