March 16 is “Free Play Snow Day”
Like free stuff? This weekend’s snow might be obnoxious, but there’s at least one benefit to the pile-on. There should be plenty of snow on the ground next Saturday.
That’s important because Three Rivers Park District is scheduling a “Free Play Snow Day” in all of its parks. That includes passes to the cross country ski area and the off-leash dog park. Ski, snowshoe, sledding and kick-sledding equipment is also no charge.
Elm Creek Park Reserve will feature two-for-one tubing, skiing and snowboarding admission. You can find a full list of everything that’s included in the Free Play Snow Day on the Three Rivers website.
