Free Hearing Aids Event on March 22 Described As “Life Changing”
On Saturday, March 22, there’s an event in Osseo that aims to have an immeasurable impact.
“It will change your life,” said Heidi Hill. “That’s the best part of what we do.”
Hill is an audiologist with Hearing Health Clinic. The clinic is hosting its inaugural hearing aid fitting event, which is done partnership with the nonprofit Hearing The Call.
The clinic is geared toward people with low incomes who may not be able to afford hearing aids.
“Hearing difficulty impacts so many different facets of our daily life,” said Hill. “Not only does it prevent us from being able to communicate effectively and be able to connect, be social, be able to fully engage, but we know from research it also leads to a lot of different health conditions.”
The hearing aid fitting event starts at 9 a.m. Saturday at Hearing Health Clinic, located at 512 Central Avenue, in downtown Osseo.
