Cedrick Frazier Elected to Represent House Dist. 45A
Cedrick Frazier won his first election to represent House District 45A. Frazier received 63 percent of the votes. It will be the first time someone new has represented the district in almost 50 years. Lyndon Carlson, the longest-serving legislator in state history, did not seek re-election.
Frazier was appointed to the New Hope city council to fill a vacancy in 2018. He currently serves as a staff attorney for Education Minnesota.
District 45A largely votes blue. It covers the northeast portion of Plymouth, northern Crystal and most of New Hope.
Jesse Pfliger ran against Frazier on the Republican ticket. He just purchased Nonna Rosa’s restaurant in Robbinsdale.
