Four Candidates Running Unopposed Elected to Hopkins School Board
Voters in the Hopkins Public School District elected four board members to serve four-year terms.
The candidates, Zhiming Zhao, Kaj Thompson, Brooke Roper and Shannon Andreson, won election without opposition.
Andreson was the lone incumbent. Board members Tanya Khan, Katie Pederson and Steve Adams did not run for re-election. Adams was first elected in 2011, serving the past 12 years. Khan and Pederson each served one term.
Candidates for the seven-member Hopkins School Board serve four-year terms.
The Hopkins Public School District serves residents of Hopkins, as well as portions of Golden Valley, Plymouth, Minnetonka, Eden Prairie, Edina and St. Louis Park.
