Former Park Center Star Student Excels Beyond High School
In 2002, CCX Media, school districts, and North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce recognized Park Center Senior James Anunciacion as a “Star Student.”
It’s a program where local school districts celebrated top students in conjunction with the North Hennepin Area Chamber of Commerce.
Back then, Anunciacion’s teachers described him as being a role model to his peers who sets the standard with his optimistic manner.
And it still rings true. This week, Anunciacion was one of 20 students to receive a Masters Degree in Supply Chain Management from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.
His peers selected him to speak at the graduation ceremony.
“Each and every one of us has earned the privilege of walking across this stage tonight. And I’m honored to have been selected to represent this year’s graduating class. It’s an honor that will last with me forever,”
Anunciacion works for General Mills in Golden Valley.
