Former Osseo City Administrator Paid $219K in Separation Agreement
The city of Osseo paid former City Administrator Riley Grams 10 months of salary as part of a separation agreement.
According to the agreement, which was obtained by CCX News through a data practices request, Grams received $126,945.20, as well as continued retirement account contributions as a “negotiated settlement” for compensation.
Grams was also paid $92,852.21 for his 1,278.78 accrued paid-time-off hours.
That brings the total payout to $219,797.41.
With the settlement, Grams released the city from “all clams for damages of whatever kind in nature.”
The agreement, which was signed by Osseo Mayor Duane Poppe on April 26, notes that Grams resigned effective May 22.
This came after the Osseo City Council met with Grams in a two-hour, closed door performance review on April 22.
Osseo Police Chief Shane Mikkelson is currently serving as interim city administrator.
