Former New Hope Country Kitchen to Become El Loro Restaurant
The building formerly occupied by Country Kitchen will soon be converted to an El Loro Mexican restaurant.
Country Kitchen closed last summer after being in business for more than 40 years.
“[El Loro] actually just obtained their liquor license, which means that they want to open up pretty quickly here,” said Jeff Sargent, New Hope’s director of community development.”
El Loro’s owners plan to do some renovations inside the building over the next few months. Sargent said he expects El Loro to open in early April.
El Loro has nine locations in Minnesota including Brooklyn Park, Crystal and Champlin.
