Down in the Valley’s Crystal Location Closes its Doors on Saturday
It’s the end of an era in Crystal, as Down in the Valley closes its doors on that location on Saturday, Dec. 31.
“It’s been a great run with a lot of great support in this year,” said General Manager Scott Farrell. “Twenty-five years of some really good biz, and being a part of the community here has been great.”
Farrell says there are sales underway on music, clothing and more as the Crystal store on West Broadway wraps up their last week of business.
“There’s a lot of nostalgia and sadness, but we’re keeping it positive here,” he said. “This is more of a timing issue than anything and a commitment long term. We’ve got our sights set on new opportunities.”
Farrell says fear not, the Maple Grove and Golden Valley location that’s been around for 50 years will remain open. No word yet on where that third location will be.
