Down in the Valley Celebrates 50 Years
Down in the Valley will celebrate 50 years of business in Golden Valley this weekend with a celebration on Saturday.
Current staff attended the Golden Valley City Council meeting this past week for recognition and for a special proclamation.

The proclamation said Down in the Valley “not only survived five decades of big-box competitors, streaming services, and other challenges but has continued to thrive and grow into three separate locations so that it is now the largest indie chain in the Twin Cities.”
In the proclamation, the city also encouraged the business to “rock on” for another 50 years. Read the proclamation in full here.
