Kevin Anderson Elected to Replace Jeff Johnson in Hennepin County Commission’s District 7
In the race for Hennepin County Commissioner in District 7, voters elected Kevin Anderson, who defeated Danny Nadeau by a vote of 48,304 to 45,299.
Jeff Johnson represented District 7 for 12 years. The district is a large one, covering Maple Grove, the western part of Plymouth, Dayton, Corcoran and rural areas stretching west.
Kevin Anderson is a project architect and says he works with diverse groups of people to solve complex problems. Anderson says more needs to be done in the northern part of Hennepin County to relieve congestion. In a statement to CCX News, Anderson says he also hopes to build partnerships to expand access to mental health services. Anderson calls Maple Grove home.
