District 279 Art Show at Maple Grove Gov’t Center Through April 1
The Maple Grove Arts Center features the District 279 Student Art Show from now through April 1 at the Maple Grove Government Center.
“It’s an exciting show so I encourage you to come down, bring your kids, bring yourselves. Come and support the arts,” said Lise Spence-Parsons, president and executive director of the Maple Grove Arts Center. “The arts in Maple Grove are extremely important. We are working towards making this a more viable proposition for this community.”
The opening reception is March 23. Students will be awarded for their work and a senior with plans to attend art school will be awarded the Jacob Beneke scholarship.
The show features around 90 pieces of student art.
