Crystal Teen Arrested in Brooklyn Park Shooting
Brooklyn Park police announced Wednesday the arrest of a Crystal teen who they say is connected to a shooting last month.
Officers responded on Nov. 19 shortly after 2:30 a.m. to the 6000 block of 65th Avenue N. in Brooklyn Park, where The Willows Apartments are located. Upon arrival, officers found a man who had a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
A Brooklyn Park police spokesperson said “relentless work” by detectives ultimately led to an arrest.
Police executed a search warrant on Wednesday morning in the 3800 block of Adair Ave. N. where a 17-year-old Crystal boy was taken into custody, police said.
No motive has been revealed yet for the shooting. Charges in the case are pending.
