Crystal Takes Steps to Redevelop Town Center
The town center area of Crystal is meeting with developers to talk about new construction projects. They are considering the area around Bass Lake Road, between West Broadway and County Road 81. The city has met with developers interested in building market rate or affordable apartments there.
A report to the Crystal EDA this week revealed that developers like recent changes like the new streetscape and Becker Park renovation. In the coming weeks, EDA members will be touring recent affordable and market rate developments. The multi-family units would appeal to seniors and families.
