Crystal Roadside Sign Becomes “Big Orange Dance Machine”
Coming soon to a summer festival near you: a machine designed to make you dance.
The city of Crystal donated an old electronic roadside traffic trailer to the Minnesota Children’s Museum. The technology in the trailer was then gutted and rebuilt, creating what’s now known as the “Big Orange Dance Machine.”
The new trailer includes foot pedals to start up the machine and select dance moves.
The dances the trailer features include “the disco,” “the gallop,” “the floss,” and of course “the YMCA.”
The Big Orange Dance Machine is scheduled to appear at Crystal Frolics on July 23.
