Crystal Police Trace Bank Fraud to Skimming Device
Crystal police posted an alert to residents after a series of debit card fraud cases. Police sent out the alert on its Facebook page. The Crystal Police Department says the fraud affected customers of the TCF Bank on Bass Lake Road.
Police traced the fraudulent activity to a card-skimming device on the bank’s ATM. The fraudulent activity included the dates of June 8, 9, 28 and 29. Police advise anyone who used the ATM during those days to check their accounts.
If you notice suspicious activity on your account, police say you should call the bank to get a new debit card.
