Crystal Police Respond to Shots Fired Calls
Crystal police continue to investigate a weekend incident in which numerous 911 calls came in about shots fired.
Police recovered several spent bullet casings Saturday morning just after 10 a.m. along Hampshire Avenue, first near 30th Avenue, then again by 32nd Avenue.
Authorities did not locate anyone who was injured, nor could they find any damaged property. The Hennepin County Sheriff’s Crime Lab assisted Crystal police in the search for evidence.
Some witnesses did report a dark-colored SUV leaving the area at a high rate of speed. Police say it’s unknown if the vehicle is related to shots fired incident. No arrests have been made.
