Crystal Cove Aquatic Center Will Not Open This Summer
The city of Crystal announced on Friday that the Crystal Cove Aquatic Center will not open this summer. It will remain closed for the 2020 season.
A statement says current state requirements do not allow public pool use and that the Centers for Disease Control notes that public and staff safety would still be a concern.
The Crystal Cove Aquatic Center draws hundreds of swimmers out every year for slides and summer fun.
Staff is working to refund people with season passes or who have signed up for swim lessons. Any pool coupon booklets purchased in 2020 will be valid in 2021.
