Cross-Country Ski Trails open at Elm Creek Park Reserve
The cross-country ski trails opened at Elm Creek Park Reserve this week, which is earlier than they were open last year.
“When we make snow, we want to be able to make a lot and we want it to be able to stay around,” said Jessie Montgomery, staff member at Elm Creek.

Expect to see other winter activities, like downhill skiing and the tubing hill, open in the coming weeks.
“I think once we have cold weather, people are just excited to come out and do their fun outdoor winter activity,” said Montgomery. “So we opened 1.2K yesterday and we will be making snow and opening more as time allows.”
