Cross Community Players Presents ‘Legally Blonde’ Starting June 16
‘Legally Blonde’ Takes Place at Maple Grove’s Town Green
Cross Community Players will perform “Legally Blonde” starting June 16 at Town Green park in Maple Grove.
The show is complete with Elle Woods, lots of pink and, of course, her dog Bruiser.
“Elle is one of the most empathetic and kind people that I’ve had the opportunity to play,” said Marissa Noe, who plays “Elle Woods.”
Stage director Jeff Anderson says one of the fun challenges of producing the show are the scene changes.
“We go from L.A. to Harvard, and adding a layer of being outside that we had to be very creative with how we set those moments,” said Anderson.
Choreographer Ann Marie Omeish says the crew is also really excited about performing outside on the Town Green.
“We have really talented amazing people, I think just being able to do a show right now after COVID, that’s exciting,” said Omeish. “And to be outside and we’re going to have so much fun.”

“There’s just a lot of crazy energy in this show,” said Mitch Vosejeka, who is in the ensemble.
