Crews Respond to Brooklyn Park Fire
Brooklyn Park fire crews could see the smoke coming from a home on Candlewood Drive when they arrived on Friday afternoon. The Brooklyn Park Fire Dept. says it was a kitchen fire at the home in the 7300 block of Candlewood Drive that extended into the attic. There were no injuries.
It did take fire crews 30 minutes to get the fire under control. Fire departments from Fridley, Maple Grove, Osseo and West Metro gave mutual aid.
