Champlin Park Asst. Principal Passes Away After Cancer Battle
Champlin Park Assistant Principal Julie Yager died this week after a battle with cancer. Principal Michael George said in an email to parents that Yager fought courageously and never gave up.
“We are saddened by this news,” said George in an email to CPHS parents. “It is difficult for many of us, especially students and staff who knew her well.”
The district provided counselors and support staff to students and staff this week.
