Celebrities Coming to Topgolf for Fundraising Event
Topgolf will be the place to be on Saturday to meet some high-profile athletes and support a good cause.
The Brooklyn Center entertainment venue will host the 15th Annual Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund celebration.
Carol Fitzgerald is the mother of Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, Larry Fitzgerald, a Minnesota native.
She died of breast cancer in 2003, and her family holds an event every year to raise money in support of urban education programs, and breast cancer and HIV prevention.
“You can come by there and have a good time,” said Larry Fitzgerald, Sr., Carol’s widower and the father of the Cardinals’ receiver. “Meet some great people, some athletes. Larry’s not going to be the only celebrity there. There will be others.”
The fundraiser at Topgolf takes place Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m. Tickets cost between $150 to $3,000.
