CEAP launches Brooklyn Tour of Soup du Jour
For Minnesota Food Share Month, CEAP and other nonprofits hope to earn extra dollars and donations for their nonprofits.
“This really is a critical month,” explains CEAP’s Rachel Hickok. “We try to stock the food shelf full of food to raise those funds that are critical for us to help neighbors.”
Area churches are hosting the Brooklyn Tour of Soup du Jour as a way to build community and earn money.
“The goal here is to have a great community connection,” said Hickok. “Come have a great bowl of soup, connect with your neighbors and make a free will donation to CEAP.”
Hickok says funds will be used to support nutrition in our community as part of March Food Share Month.
