Brooklyn Park Weekend Fun Features Craft Beer Festival and Tater Daze
There’s no shortage of things to do this Friday and Saturday in Brooklyn Park.
Northwest Passage at the Twin Cities Corn Maze
This first-of-its-kind craft beer festival called Northwest Passage at the Twin Cities Festival corn maze site takes place Friday and Saturday. There will be food trucks and live music. There is a $10 entrance fee.
“We’ll have an adult-only, 21-and-up activity on Friday and Saturday. We just want to experiment. There’s local breweries and we love to support local business,” said Bert Bouwman, Twin Cities Festival owner.
And if you are wondering about the annual Twin Cities Corn Maze and Harvest Festival, Bouwman says he plans to open that in September.
Tater Daze
The 56th Annual Tater Daze Festival is Friday and Saturday in Brooklyn Park.
“We’re excited to bring it back, enjoy the history of Brooklyn Park and the potato farming history,” said Jake Patton with Brooklyn Park’s Recreation and Parks Department. “Families will have a chance to come out and enjoy a ton of activities at the Community Activity Center.”
Friday’s activities will take place at the Eidem Farm, while Saturday is at the Community Activity Center.
