Brooklyn Park Police Seek Owners of Stray Dogs
Brooklyn Park police are hoping to locate the owners of two dogs found wandering the streets.
Police say a brown dog was found Wednesday walking along County Road 81 near Interstate Highway 694. A white dog was also found Wednesday near Bass Creek Park. That animal has an injury to its leg and is believed to be a stray for some time.
Neither of the dogs, both males, have tags or microchips.

Brooklyn Park police took in the animals because the Pets Under Police Security (PUPS) facility it normally uses for strays is at maximum capacity. Police also say other backup facilities are at or near capacity largely due to the canine flu outbreak.
