Brooklyn Park Police Say Thieves Hit Two Car Dealerships Early Wednesday Morning
Police in Brooklyn Park say they stopped a group of people who had stolen and damaged vehicles at a two car dealerships on Wednesday morning.
Officers responded to Walser Hyundai just after 6:00 a.m. where they say the thieves damaged several vehicles and stole at least one, which police stopped after a chase on Highway 81. The suspects all ran away after the officers tried to pull them over.
According to reports, there were also vehicles damaged and stolen from the Kia dealership, and one of the stolen vehicles was later found in Minneapolis.
The investigation continues, though, according to officers, at least one person had been taken into custody by early Wednesday afternoon.
