Brooklyn Park Police Respond To Shots Fired Inside Home, Recover Evidence
Brooklyn Park police responded on the Labor Day holiday to a case of shots fired inside a home that led to the recovery of gunfire evidence, police announced Monday night.
Officers responded shortly before 5 p.m. Monday to a home in the 2500 block of 83rd Court N. Police say responding officers noticed several people, all males of unknown age, running from the scene and speeding off in a vehicle.
Brooklyn Park officers recovered several firearm accessories in the road that police say the people running away appeared to have dropped as they fled from the scene.
A police search of the home revealed additional evidence of multiple gunshots, police said.
As of Tuesday, officers had not located anyone who was shot, nor had they identified any suspects.
Brooklyn Park police detectives continue to investigate.
