Brooklyn Park Police Respond to Attempted Kidnapping at McDonald’s
Suspect Sought in Attempted Brooklyn Park Kidnapping
Brooklyn Park police say they responded to a 911 call of an attempted kidnapping of a child at the McDonald’s on 85th Avenue near Hwy 252 around 1 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a caller reported a male suspect grabbed her 3-year-old child and indicated he was going to take the child. According to reports, the child screamed and the suspect took a cell phone from the child and fled the restaurant on a bicycle.

Police say the suspect is described as a young Black male wearing a black t-shirt and shorts. He was last seen going eastbound riding a dark-colored BMX bike. Police listed the location as 1480 85th Ave. in Brooklyn Park.
Police are asking anyone who knows the suspect or believes they have information about this incident, to call 911.
Police are still investigating the incident.
