Brooklyn Park Police Investigate Fatal Shooting at Residential Home
Charges in Brooklyn Park Fatal Shooting Expected Tuesday
Charges are expected following a weekend shooting that left one person dead at a Brooklyn Park home.
Police were called to the 3800 block of 83rd Avenue North shortly before 7:30 p.m. Saturday night. When they arrived, police located a person who had died from a gunshot wound. As of Monday afternoon, that person had not yet been identified.
Brooklyn Park police arrested a suspect at the home and recovered a firearm. The motive into the crime was not yet clear as of Monday. Brooklyn Park police Deputy Chief Mark Bruley indicated that prosecutors could present charges by noon Tuesday.
